In the context of global integration, the acquisition of Business English language and skills is of great importance for EFL students in general and English majors at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HOU English majors) in particular. Vietnam is an emerging market – a fulcrum for global transnational groups providing competitive products and services worldwide. In response to this phenomenon, equipping young workforce with fluency and competence in Business English language and skills is a cornerstone amongst other educational missions.

“Business in Motion” is specially designed in accordance with the abovementioned, preparing HOU English majors with fundamental knowledge and practical skills of the world business and English language use. The provision of case studies as well as authentic situations in each chapter in Vietnam’s market enables learners to grasp thorough understanding of its increasingly dynamic and constantly changing business ecosystem. In addition, the material strives to cultivate learners’ professional work manners as well as work ethics, paving the way for their success in this era.

“Business in Motion” was first published and used internally; therefore, errors are inevitable. The authors would like to welcome all comments and feedback from professionals and lecturers in the field.
